Private Equity Associate (m/f/x)

Paragon Partners is an independent private equity firm based in Munich and focused on the German speaking mid-cap market.

Paragon Partners was established in 2004 by a team of experienced private equity professionals and is wholly owned and operated by the three partners. The team is based in one central office in Munich.

Our investors are family offices, private individuals and institutional investors who share our investment philosophy. With currently € 1.2 billion under management and a newly raised fund P3 of € 783 million Paragon Partners expands the team.

The role
• Take on a significant role in all aspects of a transaction from deal origination to execution and exit, with a leadership position on financial and commercial analysis
• Responsibility for financial modelling and due diligence work-streams, but Associates work across the entire deal life cycle, including taking an active role in portfolio management and improvement
• Work across different industry sectors and all varieties of deal situations, analysis of diverse sectors and companies

You are

• Passionate about the German Mittelstand and experienced in working with mid-cap companies

• A highly analytical person with excellent financial skills, able to interpret financial data and advanced in LBO modelling

• Experienced in designing strategies in order to create value and working with a senior management team

• Commercially savvy, able to take a balanced view on deal opportunities

• An excellent project manager, who is able to form teams, set timelines and deliver measurable results

• Keen on learning and to become an excellent and responsible investor and you already show an investor mindset
